It May Look Like I’ve Just Called in for a Cuppa… But Actually, It’s So Much More
Sometimes people see me online or in person and think, “Oh, she’s just having a chat over tea.” And yes — there’s often tea, sometimes biscuits too. But really, those 90 minutes are about so much more than a cuppa.
Pregnancy, birth, and those first weeks with a baby are life-changing — amazing, exhausting, and sometimes overwhelming. There’s an endless stream of advice out there, but what families often need most is someone to listen, guide, and make sense of it all in a way that’s personal to them. That’s why I do what I do.
I’m a midwife, a health visitor, and a mum. I’ve been in the rooms where parents feel anxious, uncertain, or completely overloaded with information. I’ve seen the relief on someone’s face when a complex question finally makes sense, or when they feel truly supported in a choice that’s right for them. That’s why I offer these 90-minute consultations, either online or face-to-face.
In our time together, we focus on what matters most to you:
Your choices during pregnancy and birth
Feeding, sleep, and understanding your baby’s cues
Adjusting to life as a new parent — and finding space for yourself
It’s not a lecture. It’s a conversation. A safe space to talk openly about your fears, hopes, and questions — and leave with clarity, reassurance, and a personalised plan that works for your family.
So yes, I might look like I’ve just popped in for a cuppa. But really, I’m there to offer support, guidance, and calm during one of the most exciting — and overwhelming — times of your life.
Because at the heart of it, that’s why I do what I do: to hold families through those first steps of parenthood so they feel seen, heard, and supported.
